Freestyle
A modern, expressive and varied dance style. Freestyle is a popular form of dance in the UK today. It involves runs, spins, kicks and leaps, as well as many other diverse steps and movements with lots of arm and hand actions. The music can be fast and rhythmic or slow and sensuous, allowing dancers of all ages to use freedom of expression to enhance their style
Street
Street is a style of dance that originates from a social scene, its roots go all the way back to the 18th Century. Commercial dance refers to dancing performed in pop artist live shows, music videos and movies. Any dance style can be worked into this style commonly known as Street dance. Commercial dance is a fun style of dance incorporating modern trends, it's exciting and entertaining.
Musical Theatre Dance
This class is a fusion of all modern dance styles. Musical Theatre Dance takes you to inspirational heights. The spotlight is on you. As well as dancing to the theatre classics, we write and choreograph own shows, with the imagination and input from the children. Costume props and make-up are used to add to the characters and the performance.
Northern Soul
It was a style of dance that was around in the Northern Soul Clubs in the 70's, were people had the freedom of self expression.
Examinations
Students may take IDTA grades which are held approximately three times a year, a way to show progression and self satisfaction. IDTA examinations are well regarded by dance professionals and vocational colleges whole wide.

The International Dance Teachers’ Association is a leading dance qualifications awarding body and membership association for professional dance teachers.
What do I wear
Students are recommended to wear gym wear or P.E kit. T-shirts can be purchased from our shop but they are not compulsory.
